Spirited Baseball Practice

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A heavy shower interrupted the University baseball team's practice yesterday afternoon. The men were given a long session of fielding, and the same aggressiveness which characterized the playing in the Holy Cross game was again displayed. There was no chance for batting practice as the rain soaked the field and the men were sent in.

Captain Dexter was given considerable work at third base, so that in case Leonard is unable to play the entire game, he can be moved in from the field and one of the sub-outfielders put in his place. A. E. McCarty '07, who played on the 1904 and 1905 teams, was out yesterday and took part in the practice.
