The University second baseball team lost to Holy Cross second yesterday afternoon in a ten-inning game by the score of 5 to 2. Foley, of Holy Cross, was in fine form, striking out 13 men, and allowing but two hits. Greene, although not quite as effective, kept the hits well scattered until the ninth and tenth innings. With the score 2 to 1 against them in the ninth, Holy Cross second tied the score on two errors, a stolen base, and Carrol's single. Three more runs were scored in the tenth on a combination of errors and Foley's triple to deep right.
