FRESHMEN VS. BROWN 1910

1910 Baseball Team Plays on Soldiers Field at 4.--Lanigan in the Box.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At 4 o'clock this afternoon the Freshman baseball team will play the Brown freshman on the Freshman diamond, Soldiers Field. The Brown freshmen have defeated Pomfret by a score of 11 to 0, but lost to Princeton freshmen, 10 to 1, and to Dean Academy, 7 to 0. The team has a good pitcher in Bliss, but has given him poor support in nearly all the games played this season.

The Freshmen made a strong showing against the University team on Monday, and appear to have recovered from their batting slump of last week. With Lanigan in the box they should easily win today's game.

The batting orders: HARVARD 1910.  BROWN 1910. Aronson, s.s.  l.f., Hartigan Palmer, 2b.  c.f., Richards Hall, 1b.  c., Hennessy Lanigan, p.  2b., Regnier Delano, r.f.  s.s., Almey Foster, 3b.  r.f., O'Neil Brown, c.  3b., Walker Pond, c.f.  p., Bliss Ferguson, l.f.  1b., McCarthy
