The Princeton Baseball Team

Captain J. L. Cooney '07, catcher, of Scranton, Pennsylvania, prepared at Phillips Exeter Academy. This is his fourth year an catcher on the university nine. He has also played tackle on the football teams of the past four years and was captain of the 1905 eleven. He is 26 years old, is 6 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs 194 pounds.

W. S. Heyniger, Jr., '09, pitcher, of Corning, New York, entered college from the Lawrenceville School. He was a pitcher on last year's team, playing in both the Harvard and Yale series. He is 22 years old, is 6 feet 2 1-2 inches tall, and weighs 185 pounds.

W. E. McLean '07, first baseman, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, prepared for college at the Philadelphia Central High School. On his freshman nine he played at third base; and during the last two years he has played with the university team, at third base and in right field, respectively. He is 21 years old, is 5 feet 10 1-2, inches tall, and weighs 152 pounds.

E. A. Dillon '09, at second base, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, prepared at Andover. He played in centre field with last year's nine and has played quarter-back on the football team for the last two years. He is 22 years old, is 5 feet 9 1-2 inches tall, and weighs 156 pounds.

Robert Vaughn '09, short stop, of Stamford, New York, prepared at Phillips Exeter Academy. Last year he played on second base. He is 21 years old, is 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs 137 pounds.

W. R. Sides '09, third baseman, of Brooklyn, New York, entered college from St. Paul's School, Garden City. He played in the same position on last year's nine. He is 20 years old, is 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs 175 pounds.

E. H. W. Harlan '08, left fielder, of Bel Air, Maryland, came to Princeton from the Episcopal High School, Alexandria. He played short stop on his freshman team and left fielder on last year's university nine. Harlan also played left halfback on the football team last year. He is 20 years old, is 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs 162 pounds.

L. W. Newcomb '07, in centre field, of Mount Desert, Maine prepared at Phillips Exeter Academy. He played in centre field on his freshman team; and last year was substitute on the university team. He is 23 years old, is 5 feet 6 1-2 inches tall, and weighs 145 pounds.

L. C. Wister '08, right fielder, of Germantown, Pennsylvania, prepared at Germantown Academy. He played in left field on his freshman nine and last year was first baseman on the second university team. Wister also played right end on last year's eleven. He is 20 years old, is 6 feet tall, and weighs 174 pounds.

L. Doyle '08, catcher and first baseman, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, prepared at Penn Charter School. He played in right field with the university team in 1905 and was substitute catcher last year. He is 23 years old, is 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs 173 pounds.

H. Drewes '09, pitcher, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, prepared at the Philadelphia Central High School. Last year, he pitched on his freshman nine. He is 20 years old, is 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighs 132 pounds.

G. A. Walker '07, pitcher, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, also comes from the Philadelphia Central High School. He was pitcher on his freshman team and also on last year's second team. He is 24 years old, is 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs 155 pounds.
