The University tennis team will play its second match of the season with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Jarvis Field this afternoon. The singles will be played at 2 o'clock and the doubles at 3 o'clock. J. M. Morse '07, C. C. Pell '08, A. S. Dabney, Jr., '09, and A. M. Harlow '07 will compose the University team in the singles. In the doubles the team will be the same except that A. N. Reggio '07 will play instead of Harlow. The Technology team will consist of J. I. B. Larned '08, W. B. Coffin '07, J. S. Nicholl '07 and P. R. Fanning '09.
The match will probably be close and exciting, for although the University team decisively defeated Princeton last Saturday by a score of 8 to 1, the Technology team is the same, except for Larned, as that which made such a creditable showing in the New England Intercollegiate tournament last year. Larned was graduated from Harvard in 1905, and while here played for three years on the tennis team.
