NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University second baseball team was defeated by Holy Cross second on Fitton Field, Worcester, yesterday afternoon by a score of 6 to 2. Greene pitched a fine game for the second team, striking out nine men and allowing but three hits; but he received miserable support, three wild throws by Paine being particularly costly. Foley, of Holy Cross second, was also effective.

The score by innings: Innings,  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9  R.  H.  E. Harvard 2nd,  2  0  0  0  0  0  0  0  0--2  3  8 Holy C. 2nd,  0  1  1  1  0  0  2  1  x--6  3  5
