The first performance of the Grand Opera "Azara," by the late Professor J. K. Paine h.'69, head of the department of music, will be given tomorrow night, at Symphony Hall, Boston, by the Cecilia Society, conducted by Mr. B. J. Lang. The principal solo singers will be: Mrs. Alice Bates Rice, Mrs. Bertha Cushing Child and Messrs. George Deane, Stephen Townsend, H. F. Merril, and Earl Cartwright. There will be a full orchestra.
Tickets may be obtained at Symphony Hall for $2, $1.50, and $1.
