Final Pasteur Medal Debate Trial

The final trial to choose the team that will represent the Forum in the Pasteur Medal debate on May 3 will be held in Dane Hall this evening at 8 o'clock. A regular debate will be held on the question: "Resolved, That the French government should substitute a general income tax for the present taxes now levied for national purposes." R. E. Hoguet '08, R. T. Mack '08, and A. E. Pinanski '09 will speak on the affirmative; and P. B. Carter '08, G. C. Good '09, and K. Costikyan '09 will argue the negative. On the merits of the speeches in this debate a first team will be chosen, and the remaining three men will be retained as a second team. B. M. Nussbaum '08 will coach the team. The trials today will be judged by H. von Kaltenborn sC., B. M. Nussbaum '08, and E. B. Stern '07.
