BASEBALL WITH DARTMOUTH

On Soldiers Field at 3.--Leonard Not to Play. Dartmouth Team Strong.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University baseball nine will play Dartmouth this afternoon at 3 o'clock on Soldiers Field. Last year the games with Dartmouth were won by narrow margins, the University team being unable to hit Skillen's delivery with much certainty. As the same man will pitch this afternoon, Harvard will probably be outclassed in the box.

Since the Bates game on Wednesday the warm weather has favored the development of the University team, which has held two long practices. Batting has received special attention, and considerable improvement has been made in this respect. The regular fielding practice has been held, and the men have been coached on running and sliding to bases. P. Carr '04 has assisted Coach Coburn in this work. The batting orders: HARVARD.  DARTMOUTH. Leonard, 3b.  l.f., O'Brien Stephenson, c.  c.f., McDevitt Burr, 1b.  1b., Gardiner McCall, 2b.  p., Skillen Dexter, l.f.  r.f., McLane Harvey, s.s.  s.s., Richardson Hellmann, c.f.  c., Main McCarty, r.f.  2b., Driscoll Greene, p.  3b., Page Hartford, p.
