Today is the last day on which men who intend to compete for the Boylston prizes for elocution may enter their names with Professor Briggs, Boylston Professor of Rhetoric and Oratory, University 5. A list of the subjects which have been spoken on during the last few years, and which will not be accepted this year, is posted in the south entry of University Hall.

The speaking for the prizes, which consist of two first prizes of $60 each and three second prizes of $45 each, will take place, before the Corporation and gentlemen selected by them as judges, on Thursday, May 9.
