Lecture by Prof. Vinogradoff Tonight

Professor Paul Vinogradoff will deliver the second of his series of lectures on the "Elements of Law" this evening at 8 o'clock in the North Lecture Room of Austin Hall, instead of in the Fogg Art Museum, where yesterday's lecture was held. This lecture will continue the subject of last evening. "Comparative Ancient Law."

Professor Vinogradoff was formerly professor of History at Moscow University. Here he exerted himself for the spread of education in Russia, founded the Moscow Pedagogical Society, and acted as chairman of the Educational Committee in the City of Moscow. He resigned his chair in consequence of disagreements with the bureaucratic authorities, and since 1903 has been professor of Jurisprudence at Oxford, where he has made a special study of English social and legal history. He has written several noteworthy books, including "Inquiries in the Social History of England," and "Villanage in England."

All the lectures will be open to the public. The dates for the remaining lectures follow: Tuesday, April 23; Wednesday, April 24; Thursday, April 25; Tuesday, April 30.
