Golf Practice Begins After Recess

Candidates for the University golf team will be called out immediately after the April recess, and matches are now being arranged with the various golf clubs of Massachusetts. It is also probable that a match will be arranged with Dartmouth, possibly on April 27, the date of the baseball game with Dartmouth. The interclass matches will be held in the latter part of May, when the tournament for the University championship will also be played. It has not as yet been definitely decided where the team will practice this spring, but the links of the Brookline Country Club or Oakley Golf Club will probably be secured.

The prospects for a strong team this year are fairly bright, as five of the seven men who played in the intercollegiate meet in the fall are eligible: Captain W. Hickox '08, I. S. Broun '08, E. W. Clark '07, H. F. McNeil '08, and H. H. Wilder '09. There is also much promising material from last year's class teams.
