Within the last week such a great advance has been made in the building of the new Weld Boathouse that within two more weeks it is hoped that it will be ready for occupation.
The granolithic floors have been laid on the whole of the second and third stories, and the greater part of the ground floor. The heating apparatus has been installed, and the plastering is completed throughout the building. Most of the wood work, including the doors and window frames, is now in place and is being stained and varnished. The boat rests are also set up; and, on the river side, the glass in the windows and doors is in place. The lockers, which are to be of iron, will be installed within a few days.
