The Rev. Samuel Van Vranken Holmes, D.D., of Buffalo, will preach in Appleton Chapel tomorrow evening at 7.30 o'clock. Dr. Holmes was graduated from Williams College in 1883, studied at the University of Berlin, and was graduated from the Princeton Theological Seminary in 1887. He has been settled at Buffalo since 1893 as pastor of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
All seats on the floor will be reserved for members of the University until 7.25 o'clock. Students of the University will enter at the south side door, and officers of the University and their families at the north side door.
Rev. Samuel A. Eliot, D.D., will conduct regular morning prayers during the week.
