WATER MEET WITH COLUMBIA

Swimming and Water Polo Teams Meet Columbia at New York Tonight.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University swimming and water polo teams will meet Columbia tonight at New York. Judging from the excellent showing made against Yale Wednesday night, and from the fact that Columbia has been beaten by both Princeton and Pennsylvania, the University team should have little difficulty in winning the regular events and the relay race. The water polo game, however, owing to the weakness of the University team, should go to Columbia by a narrow margin.

The Harvard entries are as follows:

50-yard dash--J. V. Quinlan '07, P. Withington '09.

100-yard dash--P. Withington '09.

220-yard swim--E. Farley '07, L. Howe '07.

Plunge--L. B. Harding '08, G. C. Welch '07.

Diving--S. E. Goodwin '07, R. K. Tomlin '07.

Relay team--J. V. Quinlan '07, E. Farley '07, L. Howe '07, P. Withington '09.

Water polo--E. Farley '07, L. B. Harding '08, L. Howe '07, B. A. Merriam '09, H. A. Robinson 08, G. C. Welch '07, C. B. Whitney '08.

The University teams left last night for New York.
