The Rev. William F. McDowell D.D., of Chicago, will preach in Appleton Chapel tomorrow evening at 7.30 o'clock.
Dr. McDowell has been a Methodist Episcopal bishop since 1904. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1879, and from Boston University in 1882, receiving the degree of B.D. from the latter institution. He has since received the degrees of Ph.D. and D.D. from Ohio Wesleyan University and the degree of LL.D. from the University of Denver and Cornell College. For several years Dr. McDowell was Chancellor of the University of Denver, and since 1889 he has been international commissioner for the Young Men's Christian Association.
Regular morning prayers will be conducted next week by Dean Hodges of the Episcopal Theological School.
