HYDE LECTURES POSTPONED

Owing to Illness of M. Le vicomte G. D'Avenal.--First Lecture February 27.

The dates of the annual Hyde lectures, which will deal this year with the economic history of France from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century, have been postponed two weeks, owing to the sudden illness of the lecturer, M. Le vicomte G. D'Avenal.

The first lecture will be given in Sanders Theatre February 27 instead of February 13, and the dates of the other lectures have been changed accordingly. The final dates for the series of lectures is as follows:

February 27--Les decouvertes dues a la novelle histoire economique et privee. 4.30 P. M.

March 1--Les paysans et l'agriculture, depuis le Moyen Age jusqu' a nos jours. 8 P. M.

March 4--Le Socialisme d'hier et lagenese de la propriete individuelle recente. 4.30 P. M.

March 6--L'ouvrier, le manoeuvre et le domestique, anciens et actuels: leurs salaries. 8 P. M.

March 8--De quoi se composalent les fortunes des riches et des bedrgeois autrefois. 4.30 P. M.

March 11--Le budget des depenses de l'ouvrier et du paysan, depuis sept cents ans. 8 P. M.

March 13--L'influence de l'Etat et celle des movements de la population sur le prix du travail. 4.30 P. M.

March 15--Les riches du passe et du present. 8 P. M.

Tickets for the course may be obtained by applying by mail to G. L. Foote, Beck 33. No person may apply for more than four seats. Applications will be filled in the order of their receipt.
