The Junior class smoker held last evening in the Union was unusually well attended. A considerable entertainment was provided and several matters of class interest were brought up. The question of applying for rooms in Senior dormitories was discussed at length by the president and by J. D. White '07. White told how the precedent was established by the class of 1905, after overcoming many obstacles, and how the present Senior class has made a success of the plan. He urged that the class of 1908 should justify the action of the Corporation in continuing the privilege.
Several speeches were made on the subject of class buttons, but as no one expressed a favorable opinion or made a motion to adopt such buttons, the question was dropped. A collection to help pay the class debt resulted in raising over $70 for this purpose.
