BASKETBALL WITH M. I. T.

In Gymnasium at 8.--Close Game Expected.

The University basketball team will play the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this evening at 8 o'clock in the Gymnasium. The University team has lost its last two intercollegiate games with Princeton and Columbia, respectively, for the most part on account of the poor work of the forwards.

Technology is unusually strong this year, playing a hard and aggressive game, and being strong in shooting baskets. This team has recently had a very successful trip to New York, defeating the strong Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute 17 to 14, and holding West Point down to a close victory, 19 to 13.

The line-up follows:

Freshmen vs. M. I. T. Second at 7.30.

Starting at 7.30 o'clock and finishing between the halves of the University game, the Freshman basketball team will play M. I. T. second in the Gymnasium. Technology second has a strong team, and the game this evening should be close.

The line-up follows: HARVARD.  TECHNOLOGY. Allen, l.f.  r.f., Kinnear Broun, r.f.  l.f., Bitler Amberg, c.  c., Pierce Brooks, l.g.  r.g., Nichols Burnham, r.g.  l.g., Campbell
