Yale has defeated Columbia and has lost to Dartmouth and Princeton. Princeton's victory over Yale in New York last Saturday gave the former the intercollegiate championship for the first time since the formation of the league.
The development of the Yale team has been somewhat slow. Considerable difficulty has been encountered in making up the team because of faculty regulations. Since the game with McGill the team has been given very little practice, as the members were evidently being over-worked. The team will be handicapped tonight by the loss of Carpenter, and Willetts, who at most will not play the whole game. The chances are about even this evening and an exciting game is expected.
