HARVARD WON DUAL SHOOT

Harvard won the annual dual shoot with Princeton Saturday afternoon at the traps on Soldiers Field by the narrow margin of four birds, the final score being 191 to 187. Harvard gained a substantial lead in the early rounds which Princeton was unable to overcome in the final round. C. L. Hauthaway '10 and E. H. Wight, of Princeton, were tied for first place with 44 out of a possible 50. Each man shot at 50 birds in strings of 25, thrown at unknown angles. F. F. A. Pearson '11 shot dummy for Medina, of Princeton, who made his score early and left. The weather conditions were excellent. The score:

Harvard--Hauthaway, 44: Brooks, 39; Brewer, 38; Gilman, 37; Wigglesworth, 33. Total 191.

Princeton--Wight, 44: Wood, 43; Westenhaver, 40; Latta, 34; Medina, 26, Total, 187.

Shooting will be resumed on Soldiers Field in March, or as soon as weather permits. Another intercollegiate shoot will be held May 9 at Riverside, and, besides a few minor shoots with local gun clubs there will be dual shoots with Yale and Princeton at New Haven and Princeton respectively.
