There appeared in a prominent Boston paper yesterday an article referring to "the threatened epidemic of typhoid fever at Harvard" and the "growing list of grippe patients."
The following statement has been issued by Dr. M. H. Bailey in reference to this article:
"There has been only one case of typhoid fever in college this fall. We have at present seven cases of grippe at the Infirmary and perhaps as many more being cared for at their homes, and the number of new cases is steadily decreasing.
"Considering how prevalent grippe has been in Boston and vicinity recently, this is a remarkably fortunate showing."
