The Sophomores defeated the Freshmen yesterday afternoon in the second game of the interclass basketball series by the score at the end of the first half was 12 to 5, the Sophomores having established a lead of seven points which they kept consistently throughout the game. Superior team play and condition, as well as the excellent goal shooting of Sheehan, Lanigan and Scribner, won for the Sophomores. Case and Webber played the best game for the Freshmen.
The summary follows:     Score--1910, 21; 1911, 13.  Goals from floor--Sheehan 4, Scribner 3, Lanigan 2, Case, Dudley, Sanderson, Webber.  Fouls called-on 1910, 9; on 1911, 10.  Goals from fouls--Case 4, Lanigan 3, Sanderson 1.  Referee--P.Brooks '09. Timekeepers--C.W. Chamberlain '07, H.P. Hoffstot '10.  Time--20 minute halves.  The final game of the interclass series will be played in the Gymnasium at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon between the Seniors and the Sophomores.  Both teams play a fast game with good team work, but the Sophomores excel in passing.  The probable line-up will be:
