Songs Chosen for Parade on Friday

Of the compositions handed in for the John Harvard Song Competition, the Song Committee selected as the best two, "Harvard Yard," to the tune of "Maryland" by J. C. Bills '09, and "Anniversary Hymn" to the tune of "Battle Hymn of the Republic" by J. E. Cates '10. These will be sung on the parade to the Stadium Friday night.
