The Harvard Memorial Society will give a banquet tonight at 7 o'clock in Memorial Hall in honor of the three hundredth anniversary of the birth of John Harvard. President Eliot will preside, and there will be informal speaking.

Foster, Jr., '02; Connecticut Valley, C. H. Beckwith '94; Eastern Illinois, E. J. James of Urbana; Fall River, name not given; Fitchburg, E. P. Pierce L.'77; Keene, N. H., J. S. Seward '68; Lawrence, C. G. Saunders '67; Lowell, G. H. Spaulding '96; Manchester, N. H., T. M. Chalmers '91; Minnesota, H. Elliott '81; New Jersey, name not given; New York City, A. G. Fox '69, President of Harvard Alumni Association; Rhode Island, E. D. Pearce '71; Rocky Mountain, P. Williams '53; San Francisco, M. C. Sloss '90; Seattle, W. Tyng 1L.; Spokane, F. L. Clark '83; Washington, D. C., Dr. H. W. Wiley '73; Worcester, Dr. S. B. Woodward '74. Besides these there will be graduates from all parts of the country, many members of the Faculty, and about 200 undergraduates.
Warren A. Locke '69, choir master of the College Chapel, will act as chorister, and will lead the singing of "St. Martin" (as on Commencement Day), Professor Paine's Harvard hymn, "Fair Harvard," etc. Other music will be furnished by the Doctors' Glee Club of Boston, led by Dr. Richard C. Cabot '89. The dinner will probably be followed by the singing of College songs under the leadership of members of the Glee Club.
E. H. Wells '97, secretary of the Alumni Association, will serve as marshal of the dinner, and will attend to the seating of the company. Sanders Theatre will be open as a reception room, and coats and hats may be checked in the basement coat rooms. Ladies will be admitted to the galleries of the Hall on tickets, which may be obtained from W. C. Lane at the Gore Hall Library.
Admission to the dinner will be by ticket.
