Dr. E. F. Henderson '83 will deliver the third of his series of eight lectures on "The French Revolution" in the New Lecture Hall this afternoon at 4.50 o'clock. The special topic today will be "The Flight to Varennes" and will be illustrated by about 80 stereopticon slides, including views of the principal buildings of Paris and political caricatures. The lecture will deal with the different events leading up to the flight, with special reference to Mirabeau and the clergy, the flight itself in brief, the capture of the king and queen, and their return to Paris.
The lecture will be open to the public.
