A. H. Weed '03 has been appointed secretary of the Athletic Committee for the remainder of the academic year. In securing his services the committee desires to relieve the chairman and undergraduates secretary of routine work, and to have a secretary who can give whatever time is necessary to prepare business for the committee and arrange details so as to leave more time for the discussion of important questions. He will receive communications and keep the records of meetings. Much of the work which will be done by the new secretary has devolved upon the chairman, who is generally overburdened with other duties.
Mr. Weed had an excellent record as manager of the baseball team in 1903. He completed his College course in three years and graduated from the Law School in 1905.
Mr. H. S. Thompson '99 will continue as graduate treasurer.
