Mr. C. W. Birtwell, the graduate adviser on social service at Phillips Brooks House, will hereafter be in Cambridge only once a week, instead of on Tuesdays and Fridays as heretofore. Mr. Birtwell will be at Brooks House today and on succeeding Tuesdays from 2 to 3 o'clock to confer with any men who wish to engage in volunteer philanthropic work.

Men are needed for the following places: friendly visiting among the poor for the Associated Charities in Cambridgeport; direction of a gymnasium class of boys from 4 to 6 o'clock once for twice a week at Parker Memorial, Boston; teachers of elementary English and other subjects at Breadwinners' College, Boston; indoor baseball coach at St. James Church, North Cambridge; basketball coaches and boys' club leaders at the Hale House, Denison House, South End Industrial School, and other places.
