President Hadley of Yale University will leave New Haven for Berlin on Tuesday where he will occupy the Roosevelt Professorship of American History and Institutions at the University of Berlin. This chair was endowed by Mr. James Spreyer in 1905, and was approved by the German Emperor. President Hadley will lecture on the subject of "American Economic History."
In March President Hadley will return in order to be present at the annual meeting of the Yale corporation committee. During his absence most of his duties will be performed by his secretary.
