1910 FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

To Be Arranged for Those Not on Regular Squad.--Cut Next Monday.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A round-robin tournament will be arranged shortly for all those candidates for the Freshman football team who do not continue on the present squad. Teams will be organized from these men and from any other Freshmen who care to report, and will be placed under an appointed captain. To the team winning the tournament cups will be given. The purpose of the tournament is to develop new material and to encourage more men to play football in order that a larger University squad may be assured for next year.

On Monday the present squad will be diminished, so as to give the coaches more opportunity to centralize their attentions upon the first two teams and their substitutes.
