An important meeting of the Deutscher Verein will be held tonight at 7.15 o'clock, in the club rooms on Massachusetts ave., at which several plays will be read in the presence of professors of the German Department, and two will be chosen for the annual production. The plays from which the selection will probably be made are: "J. Faust, Das Puppenspiel" a play in five acts on the celebrated mediaeval subject treated by Goethe, "Einer Muss Heiraten", a one-act comedy by Wilhelmy, and two modern Bavarian plays by Ludwig Thoma, entitled "Lokalhahn" and "Medallie." Any suggestions for other plays to be considered should be given to E. F. Hanfstaengl '09, 9 Bow street. "Der Steckbrief" a farce by Roderick Benedix, was presented by the society last year.
Amendments to the constitution will be discussed at the meeting, and a new member of the executive committee appointed to fill the place of F. Schenck '09, resigned.
