The committee on the utilization of museums of art by schools and colleges, which held a series of lectures this fall, ending December 21, announces a new series, similar in character to those arranged by Simmons College during the past three years, which will be held in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, during the early months of 1907. President Eliot is chairman, and Professor P. H. Hanus and Professor H. L. Warren are members of the committee. Following is a list of the lectures:
Mr. Sidney Deane on "Greek Art," on Fridays from 3.30 to 4.30 o'clock, beginning today.
Mr. J. O. Sumner on the "Sculpture of the Italian Renaissance," partly illustrated by stereopticon, on Tuesdays from 3.30 to 4.30 o'clock, beginning next Tuesday.
Miss A. M. Keyes on "Painting," on Thursdays from 3.30 to 4.30 o'clock, beginning January 10.
Miss Cecilia Beaux will give two addresses, the dates of which have not been announced.
Tickets for the whole series at $8 and $5 may be obtained from Mr. M. S. Prichard, Simmons College, Boston. The classes are limited in number, and will be filled in order of application.
