Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Candidates for the University baseball team will be called out the week of February 10, the exact date not yet having been determined. The work for the first few weeks will consist in the development of the battery candidates and in fielding practice for the rest of the squad. Special attention will be given to batting this year, as the prospects for a good fielding team are bright.
Only two men of last year's team, ex-captain B. K. Stephenson '06 and A. L. Castle '06 are not in College this year. The following "H" men are eligible for the team: E. P. Currier '09, catcher; G. F. Greene '07, pitcher; A. E. McCarty '07 and F. H. Burr '09, first base; F. W. Kemble '08 and H. McCall '09, second base; J. W. Simons '09, shortstop; C. R. Leonard '08, third base; Captain W. D. Dexter, Jr., '07, J. D. Pounds '08 and C. W. Harvey '09, outfield. In addition to this list there are several promising men among last year's substitutes and Freshman team who can be used to advantage this spring.
The outlook at Yale is fairly encouraging. The members of last year's nine who are eligible to play again this season are Captain Kinney, third base; T. Jones and Wylie, catchers; Camp, second base; Madden, left field; Meyer, Parsons, and Pratt, pitchers. Four men have been lost by graduation: Obrien, shortstop; Jackson, first base; Smith and Huiskamp, fielders. These positions can be satisfactorily filled by last year's substitutes. The burden of the pitching will probably fall upon Meyer and Parsons, who should be very effective this year with the added experience of last season.
