The first of the winter series of handicap pole-vault competitions, held in the baseball Cage yesterday afternoon, was won by L. C. Seaverns '10, handicap, 1 ft., height, 9 ft. 11 in.; second, S. C. Lawrence '10, handicap 9 in., height, 9 ft. 8 in.; third, M. C. Peirce '10, scratch, height, 9 ft. 7 in. The next field event competitions will be held on Tuesday, February 12, in the pole-vault and broad-jump.
