Mr. H. B. Irving, who has been playing in repertoire during the week at the Colonial Theatre, will give an address on "The Art and Status of the Actor" in the Living Room of the Union next Monday evening at 8 o'clock.
Mr. Irving is a graduate of New College, Oxford, and a member of the English Bar, Inner Temple, since 1894. He first made a name for himself on the stage as Mr. Crichton in "The Admirable Crichton." Two years ago he accomplished a noteworthy success as Hamlet at the Adelphi Theatre in London. Mr. Irving has also written some interesting books of biography and fiction.
