The University Reception given in the Union last night was a pleasant event. About 225 people attended, including not only officers of instruction and government and their families, but also members of the Corporation, the Board of Overseers, and the visiting committees. Although the number of people present was not as large as last year, the fact was due in great part to the conditions of the weather. The ladies who received were Mrs. J. B. Ames, Mrs. C. H. Toy, Mrs. W. T. Councilman, Mrs. F. C. Lowell and Mrs. J. J. Storrow.
