In the second of the interclass hockey series the Seniors played a tie game with the Juniors yesterday afternoon in the Stadium, the score being 1 to 1. This game will be decided today before the game between the Juniors and Sophomores, by playing periods of five minutes each until one side makes a score.
In the game yesterday the members of both teams played hard, but without any team work, and many good individual rushes were made useless by lack of support. The Seniors made one goal early in the first period, and during the rest of the half the play was very even. For the most of the second half the puck was in the territory of the Seniors. Fraser-Campbell tied the score at the beginning of this half by a long shot from the side of the rink. As there was no further scoring an extra period of three minutes was played but neither team made a goal.
The summary: Score--1907, 1; 1908, 1. Goals--Lanahan, Fraser-Campbell. Referee--S. D. Robinson '10. Timekeeper--M. B. Whitney '08. Time--15-minute halves and one extra period of three minutes. Juniors vs. Sophomores at 3.30. The third game of the interclass hockey series will be played between the Juniors and the Sophomores this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock in the Stadium. The teams seem to be very evenly matched; the Juniors having the better individual players, and the Sophomores having developed better team play. The probable line-up:
