BASKETBALL WITH WESLEYAN

In Gymnasium at 8.--Close Game Expected Against Fast Opponents.

The University basketball team will play Wesleyan in the Gymnasium this evening at 8 o'clock. Wesleyan has a strong team, as four of last year's players are back again, and the forwards have so far this season scored heavily against their opponents. Wesleyan lost to Yale by a score of 20 to 24 and to Brown by a score of 22 to 23, but defeated Fordham 76 to 20 and Manhattan 84 to 7.

During the week the practice of the University team has been especially directed toward improving the offense. It has met with some success and if the forwards play as well as they have lately, Harvard should have little difficulty in winning today's game, as the guards can be relied upon to hold down the score of the opposing team

Admission to the game will be 50 cents.

The teams will line up as follows: HARVARD.  WESLEYAN. Currie, l.f.  r.f., Taylor Downey, Broun, r.f.  l.f., Soule Amberg, c.  c., White Burnham, l.g.  r.g., Hayward Brooks, r.g.  l.g., Chamberlain
