Rev. William H. Van Allen, rector of the Church of the Advent, Boston, will conduct the first of his series of four conferences on the general subject of "The Church and the Sacraments" in the parlor of Phillips Brooks House at 7.15 o'clock this evening. The course will be given under the auspices of the St. Paul's Society and will be somewhat similar to the one given by Dr. Van Allen two years ago.
The meetings, which are preceded by evening prayer at 7 o'clock in the Society's Chapel, will be open to all members of the University.
