Mr. R. V. Norris, E.M., will give two lectures on "Coal Mining" this morning, one from 10 to 11 o'clock, the other from 12 to 1, in the Rotch Building. These lectures are the first of a series of ten which Mr. Norris will give in the Rotch Building during the remainder of this week, and which will be open to members of the University. Mr. Norris is a graduate of Columbia, and consulting mining engineer for several large coal mines in the anthracite region of Pennsylvania.
The other lectures will be given as follows: tomorrow, 9 to 10, and 12 to 1 o'clock; Wednesday, 12 to 1 o'clock; Thursday, 9 to 10, and 12 to 1 o'clock; Friday, 12 to 1 o'clock; Saturday 9 to 10, and 12 to 1 o'clock.
