Plans have been drawn up for a new Harvard Dental School building to be erected on the corner of Longwood avenue and Wigglesworth street, Brookline, adjoining the new Medical School. The new building will contain operating rooms, laboratories, lecture rooms, a library, and a museum. The old building on North Grove street will be sold to the Massachusetts General Hospital.
About $500,000 will be needed for the undertaking, $300,000 for land, building, and equipment, and $200,000 for endowment. Of this about $80,000 has already been collected, and of this amount $36,000 was spent last summer for the ground. The money is being collected by subscription from graduates and others.
