1906 Defeated 1907, 5 to 1

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the second game of the interclass baseball series yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field the Seniors defeated the Juniors by the score of 5 to 1. Considering the fact that both teams had not played before this year, the showing made was very creditable. The pitching was good on both sides with the exception that Hall made several wide throws. Taylor, however, struck out 11 men to Hall's 5.

The Seniors scored their runs in the first, fourth, eighth and ninth innings, nearly all of which were on fair hits. The only score for the Juniors was made by Foster in the fifth inning. A home run by Taylor in the first inning was the feature of the game.
