RED TOP, June 18, 1906--This morning the University crew paddled over the first half-mile of the course down stream in 2m., 43s. The crew then went down stream as far as the Navy Yard, where Morgan replaced Richards at 3. The change was made in mid-stream from the launch. The work this afternoon was light. Morgan continued to row in the University boat which rowed about 2 1-2 miles down stream. The University four-oar rowed down stream this morning over the two-mile course in 11m., 43s. and rowed about three miles in the afternoon.

The Freshman eight and four-oar also paddled about four miles each in the morning. Reece stroked the Freshman eight and Coach G. Clark 3L. stroked the four-oar as J. Cutler and Kemp are temporarily laid up. In the afternoon the Freshman eight rowed about two and a half miles and the four-oar about three miles.
