First Crew Work Since Cornell Race

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University crew rowed again yesterday for the first time since the Cornell race last Friday, and the work was fairly satisfactory under the conditions.

A cross wind roughened the water, and the crew used the new boat for the third time this season. It will take a day or two for the proper adjustment of the outriggers and for the men to get together again after the five days' rest. In Tappan's absence, Tilton went in at three.

The practice consisted of an easy paddle down to the Union Boat Club and back at a stroke of 24.

The second crew was divided yesterday into two fours. The one stroked by Ball spaced the botter yesterday. The orders:

University eight--Stroke, Filley; 7, Newhall; 6, R. Bacon; 5, Richardson; 4, Glass; 3, Tilton; 2, Fish; bow, Flint; cox., Blagden.

University fours--Stroke, Morgan; 3, Emmons; 2, Swaim; bow, Gill; cox., Arnold. Stroke, Ball; 3, Richards; 2, Mason; bow, Tilton; cox., Whitney
