Three Changes in Freshman Crew

In consequence of the trial race last Saturday several shifts were made yesterday in the orders of the Freshman crews. Faulkner was at first changed from 5 to bow and his place was taken by Hanfstaengl, who has been at the same position in the second boat. Kennard, from 7 in the second, was tried in place of Severance at 3 in the first. Kemp and Roche were moved from the third crew to the second.

In a row up stream the boat lurched continually to port and the blade work was rough. After returning to the float the crew went out in a fresh order and the boat was steadier. Kennard was moved to 5 where he rowed before the recess, and his place filled by Faulkner, who was in turn replaced by Severance.

The final orders:

First crew--Stroke, J. Cutler; 7, Rackemann; 6, Lunt; 5, Kennard; 4, Mulligan; 3, Faulkner; 2, Crandall; bow, Severance; cox., Wise.

Second crew--Stroke, Kemp; 7, Roche; 6, Butler; 5, Richards; 4, Wentworth; 3, Williams; 2, Kelly; bow, Ellis; cox., Galatti.
