At a meeting of the members of the Yale track team Saturday night J. W. Marshall '07 S., of New York City, was elected captain of the Yale track team for next year. Marshall prepared at Andover, where he captained the track team in his Senior year. In the meets this year with Princeton, with the University track team, and in the intercollegiate games, he won first place in the high jump. In the dual meet with the University team on May 19 he cleared a height of 6 feet 1-2 inch.
