BASEBALL WITH EXETER

At Exeter This Afternoon.-Castle Will Pitch.-Simons, Shortstop.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This afternoon at 3.30 o'clock the University baseball nine will play Phillips Exeter Academy at Exeter. Castle will pitch for Harvard.

Exeter is represented by a strong team this year, and has defeated the Springfield Training School by a score of 11 to 1, and the Freshmen, 12 to 1, but has lost to Yale and Princeton by scores of 3 to 4, and 1 to 6, respectively.

Simons will play in Harvey's place at shortstop, as the latter did not prove reliable at Princeton, and Hellmann will be in his old position at centre field.

Owing to the bad weather the University team has held no practice since its return to Cambridge.
