A new plan will go into effect today, by which members of the Union will be permitted to take books from the Union Library for use in other parts of the building, upon signing slips for them at the attendant's desk. As formerly, however, books may not be taken out of the Union.
It has also been decided to allow smoking in the main room of the Library hereafter, as well as in the north room.
