Yale Defeated by Holy Cross

The Yale baseball team was defeated 15 to 4 by Holy Cross at New Haven on Saturday. Yale lost by nine costly errors, weakness in the box, and slack team work. Holy Cross fielded consistently well and at times brilliantly. They made six runs in the first inning, and 17 hits in the course of the game.

Pratt, of Yale, was batted out of the box in the fourth inning, and Jackson who succeeded him was but little more effective.
