Success of New German Society

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The new German Society, Der Harvard Verein Deutscher Studenten, which was organized early in March, has been holding regular meetings every Friday evening at 8.30 o'clock in Stoughton 26. Its purpose, that of affording an opportunity to students to speak and hear German, and to study modern German literature, art and ideals, is being successfully carried out. There have been occasional lectures from professors of the German Department, and original theses on German subjects have been read by members of the society.

At the next meeting on Friday Professor Bierwirth will make an address.
